Willow 1yr on.

Rescued a GWP? Have a GWP? Let's see some photos and tell us about them.

Willow 1yr on.

Lovely to see the photos of Diesel, Willow's brother, and glad to hear he's behaving well.

A year on and we finally feel like we've turned the corner with our girl. It sometimes seems like a lifetime ago that she arrived at 90 miles an hour and continued at that speed most of the daylight hours. She's given us some worries but also lots of laughs and now finally some trust having realised that she doesn't have to be in charge of everything.

This summer we took her to Scotland and thinking she was ok on recall let her off. Two hours later and having gone over, under or through a 12ft deer fence twice!!!! she returned. Thankfully we've now got control and she's really looking like a proper pointer out in the fields. She's still skinny despite eating anything she can pinch (50 nappy bags and a £10 note being the craziest so far) but is very healthy.

We love her to bits and she's given Bailey, 14yrs next week, a new lease of life. Hope the photo has worked if not I'll try again. Moira.

Its fabulous to hear that Willow is now settling down (a bit!)... She so looks like Diesel (I dont suppose I should be surprised!). Diesel continues to be a good lad and so enjoys his runs around the fields, the wetter the better!! Keep up the good work!
