Little is known of Thorn's early life; he was acquired from a rescue centre by his present owners about eighteen months ago.
Thorn is a very friendly, affectionate boy who gets on well with all people and all dogs. Unfortunately he suffers badly from separation anxiety and as his present family aren't able to be with him 24/7, they have very reluctantly decided to seek a new home for him.
Thorn is docked, vaccinated, castrated and microchipped. Microchip registration papers are not available so GWPC Rescue will arrange for the registration to be transferred to the new owner's name.
Thorn walks well on the lead and his recall is described as 'not bad'. He is house-trained and knows basic commands. He will chase cats given the opportunity.
We are seeking a home for Thorn ideally with other dogs, where there is someone around most of the time and where he will not be left alone for extended periods. His new home must be prepared to work on his separation anxiety.
If you are interested in giving Thorn a new home, please telephone UK Rescue Co-ordinator Ian Roberts to discuss on 01359 253565.
All prospective homes will be checked for suitability.
Thorn is in the north-east.
