Smugs and Archie

Rescued a GWP? Have a GWP? Let's see some photos and tell us about them.

Smugs and Archie

Postby Martin Quayle on Wed Mar 11, 2009 3:45 pm

Archie arrived with us in October. His first demeanour was rather sorrowful- he rather specialised in 'sad looks'. However, he was quick to improve with eating and walks, and although initially inclined to go for any other dogs around, has begun to settle. He has put on weight, seems to be cheering up and is responding to some of his training. Unfortunately he has a habit of disappearing when he gets the scent of rabbits or something similar, and so he is mostly exercised on a retractable lead.
We have had Smugs from a puppy, and looks the spitting image of Ian's Phoebe (which disconcertingly is my daughter's name!). Smugs has an amazing brain and constantly surprises us. She and Archie are still trying to work out how to get along, but mostly they are quite sociable.
