We adopted Minnie in the middle of March, into a family of one elderly (14yrs) Labrador Ella, a GSP unfortunately called Milly (1yr).

Both Minnie and Milly enjoy playing never ending fetch, giving Ella a nice peaceful time. Minnie has had a great time down the stables and also going swimming, where she could teach Milly a thing or two about technique.

We are just about to embark on our first holiday with Minnie and Milly where we hope to enjoy some lovely walks in the Gloucester countryside.

Minnie

Hi there

I'm probably doing something very off limits here, as I don't think that previous owners are meant to contact new owners directly, but i'm afraid I can't resist.

I used to own Minnie and very, very sadly had to let her go when she didn't cope very well with our toddler. I really don't want you to think that this was an easy decision - it was awful. Minnie as our first baby, and the love our lives! When our daughter was first born she was so good with her but couldn't cope one she was running about. She became increasingly nervous and unhappy. It is just so lovely to see her looking so happy and relaxed in her new home. But also very sad. I still can't really talk about her without a tear (or several) in my eye.
I have a horse and she used to love coming out with me - often for hours at a time and would gallop along in front of me! She also, as you say, loves swimming and would come in the sea with us in brighton.

I do hope that you are all getting on well with her - she's such a loving dog. She looks very happy with your GSP - very confusign having a minnie and milly!

anway, i just wanted to say hello and thanks for giving her such a great home
