As a result of unfortunate family circumstances, Jasper's owner is unable to devote sufficient time to him and has most reluctantly decided that it would be in Jasper's best interests to find a new home for him.
Jasper is docked, microchipped and vaccinated and is not accustomed to cats. He is good with adults and children (lives with an 8 yo) and apart from occasional rough play, gets on with all other dogs.
Jasper has received training from his owner and he knows basic commands, walks to heel on the lead and his recall is described as good.
We are looking for an active home possibly with another dog, where Jasper will be part of the family and where his training will be continued and where he will receive firm, calm and consistent handling.
Jasper is currently in foster-care so we are anxious to find him a new home as quickly as possible.
If you are interested in offering Jasper a new home, please contact Rescue Co-ordinator Ian Roberts on 01359 253565.
All prospective homes will be checked for suitability.
