'Henry' Young male GWP *Withdrawn*

Postby GWPRescue on Wed Sep 16, 2009 2:15 pm

This is Henry, a friendly, good-natured sixteen-month-old GWP who is looking for a new home through absolutely no fault of his own.

Henry's owner is running her own business whilst at the same time caring for an elderly relative so Henry has unfortunately had to be put in boarding kennels together with his companion springer spaniel. This is clearly an unsatisfactory situation so Henry's owner has most reluctantly decided to seek a new home for him.

Henry is castrated, vaccinated, microchipped and he was docked following an accident to his tail. He gets on well with adults with whom he is generally aloof; he has not had much to do with children. For this reason we will be seeking a home without small children. Henry will chase cats so a home without cats is mandatory.

Henry has had training from his owner and has attended puppy classes so he knows all basic commands; he does pull somewhat when on the lead so this will need some work as will his recall but he is still a very young dog.

We are seeking a GWP-experienced home without small children or cats, possibly with another dog, where Henry will receive lots of exercise, companionship, and the love, care and training needed to bring out the best in him.

All homes will be checked for suitability

If you would like to have a chat about Henry, please telephone UK Rescue Co-ordinator Ian Roberts on 01359 253565.

Henry is in the West Midlands.
