'Eva' Four-year-old GWP *Now re-homed*

'Eva' Four-year-old GWP *Now re-homed*

Postby GWPRescue on Wed Jun 17, 2009 8:44 pm

This is Eva, a four-year-old solid-liver GWP bitch who is looking for a new home through no fault of her own.

As a result of a change in family circumstances and the impending arrival of a new baby, Eva's owners have very regretfully decided to seek a new home for her.

Eva is docked, spayed, vaccinated and microchipped; she is reported to walk well on the lead and knows basic commands. Recall is described as not bad but as with most GWPs, would benefit from more work.

Eva is quite aloof with humans that she doesn't know and is rather nervous with strange dogs so work on socialisation will be required.

Eva is housetrained, can be left and travels well in the car. She is not used to cats.

Eva is not suitable for novice owners so we are looking for a GWP-experienced home, possibly a working home, without small children, where she can receive the consistent handling and the sympathetic and sensitive training and reassurance that she needs to bring out the best in her.

If you are interested in giving Eva a loving home, please contact GWPC Rescue Co-ordinator Ian Roberts by telephone on 01359 253565.

Eva is in Norfolk.
