'Billy' Young GWP *Now re-homed*

Dogs looking for new homes.

'Billy' Young GWP *Now re-homed*

Postby GWPRescue on Fri Nov 28, 2008 3:00 pm

Introducing Billy, a well-bred young male GWP who is looking for a new home through no fault of his own. Billy's family has another GWP and is finding a second, very young dog rather too much to cope with so have regretfully decided to seek a new home for him.

Billy is very young so his behaviour is still very puppy-ish. He is very playful when out and is generally quite boisterous. He pulls when on the lead and his recall is good if he has nothing better to do so some work will be required in these areas but he does have tremendous potential.

Billy is docked, vaccinated and microchipped. He is not yet castrated due to his youth.

He is described as good with people (including children - he lives with two, 8 and 11) and with other dogs. Billy is not reliable with cats.

Billy travels well in the car and has been left in the house with the family's other dog with no problems.

We are looking for a home ideally with GWP experience, where Billy will receive the mental and physical stimulation and firm and consistent training that a young dog needs to develop into a well-balanced adult.

All potential homes will be checked for suitability.

On re-homing Billy we will be inviting a donation of £150 to GWPC Rescue.

If you are interested in giving Billy a loving home, please contact GWPC Rescue Co-ordinator Ian Roberts on 01359 253565.

Billy is in Lancashire.

We have requested some clearer pictures of Billy and these will be posted when received.
